About Us

The Law Clinic is an association of volunteers who have devoted their free time to come together to promote the objects of our association. Our volunteers consists of lawyers, law students, HR professionals and caseworkers who all collectively provide the free advice that we offer. All of our volunteers are highly trained and come from a range of backgrounds.

Employment Law

As advisers we adopt a very thorough manner in tackling your issues to ensure that you receive first class employment advice. We have dealt with numerous employment cases over time all over England. We constantly look to evaluate and embrace feedback we receive so that we improve our legal and professional appreciation of customer service. We do not conduct face to face meetings, all of our consultations are carried out over the telephone during office hours Monday to Friday 9am- 5.30pm.

We are able to support people with any employment law issues such as discrimination, harassment, victimisation, additionally, we advise on wrongful dismissal, unfair dismissal, disciplinary and redundancy, as these issues may all be linked. We can assist you to work with ACAS through Early Conciliation.

Our volunteers often represent employees in the Employment Tribunal and have travelled to numerous Tribunals across the country. Our advisers will assess the likelihood of success at the very start of a case and they are able to support clients with the preparation of their case including drafting claim forms, particulars, witness statements and schedules of loss and also representing you at the Tribunal. This is at the discretion of the volunteers as this can be extremely time consuming.
